Parents are compelled to the task of introducing a horrible world to their children by making them aware of the general phenomenon that plagues grown-ups first and learn the implications of how an adult should behave and maintain composure despite the abundance of anxiety there may be. This way, the idea of a perfect, desirable world won’t fool anyone and the hope of developing a healthy pessimism and maturity is realized without corrupting the glory of childhood. This is never anti-thesis. This is simply an introduction to a discipline called Sociology. But a young mind tends to dismiss this thought and might rather be consoled by simple yet memorable things before the chaos of this world dawns unto him or her — we are fated this way. Either it’s a curse or whatnot. And the only cure is endurance, grit, and wisdom or rather, the virtues.
